There are a wide range of services on offer as part of the placement at Keystones.
Internet Library
This is located in one of our houses and can be useful for supported research or quiet reading. It can used during the day with or without staff support depending on requirements.

Gym Group
Available with staff support throughout the week.
Gardening/Allotment
Growing vegetables, fruits and flowers or general gardening maintenance with staff support is on offer.
Swimming Group
This is run weekly with staff support.
Badminton
This is run weekly with staff support.
Cinema Group
This popular group is run weekly with staff support.
Art
For the creative minded a full art room resource is provided. All materials are supplied.
Pool Group
Run weekly at a comfortable local garden pub.
Walking Group
Therapeutic easy walks in and around the Bristol area.
Photography/Woodwork
A separate fully equipped garage where experienced and qualified staff teach woodwork and photography.
Education
Help finding suitable courses or training is on offer and encouraged.
Voluntary or Paid Work
For those who are ready to engage in some form of work, support is provided in finding suitable vacancies/filling in forms etc.
Key Worker Sessions
All service users will be allocated a key worker. This staff member will offer regular key worker sessions throughout the week.
Therapeutic Sessions
Staff will invite service users to become involved in a number of therapeutic activities and offer emotional support where needed.
Benefits
Full support and assistance in getting or maintaining any benefit entitlement is available. Staff can assist and monitor all housing benefit, DLA, income support forms etc.
Budgeting
Support and assistance is offered with budgeting for those who require help in this area. Budgeting forms, saving schemes, shopping trips etc are offered for those who struggle when budgeting their money.

Activities
Staff will engage and invite service users on a large number of groups and activities that run throughout the week. There is something to suit everyone and any new ideas are always welcome.
Trips
Social and educational trips throughout Bristol and the UK are run by staff every week for those who wish to explore and get out more.
Cooking
Those who are not confident cooking, or who would like help, these skills can be developed with staff support.
Domestic areas and Hygiene
Staff approach this area delicately and will offer support and encouragement to anyone who requires it. Service users perform simple household domestic tasks daily through a fair rota system which is explained and monitored by staff.
Service User Involvement
Service user views, opinions and ideas are valuable and crucial for continuously improving the service we offer. There are many opportunities to air thoughts and feelings regarding the service, its policies and procedures and working methods. There is at least one service user representative in each house.
House Meetings
Service users attend weekly house meetings where issues, concerns and ideas regarding the house can be raised.
House Meals
Staff prepare and cook a delicious house meal every week. Occasionally this includes meals out, all of which are covered by the kitty.
Medication
This system varies depending on individual needs. Daily support is available for those who require close monitoring of their medication.
Daily Monitoring of Mental Health
Staff are here to look after general mental health and monitor any changes daily. An early intervention and prevention approach is operated.
Care Plan
Staff will specifically focus on the goals and areas agreed in the care plan and ongoing internal reviews. Service users will receive regular one-to-ones to work on progressing with the areas identified.
Doctor/Care Coordinator/SW Meetings
Staff will support service users during meetings and put forward thoughts and feelings where requested.
Working Together
Keystones maintain very strong, stable links with the entire wider support team at all times. We strive to work together on all matters arising.
