We work with adults of working age (18-65) who have a range of significant and enduring mental health needs; predominantly diagnoses of Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Mood Disorders, Complex Trauma and Anxiety. We also work with service users who have an Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Difficulties and Alcohol/Drug Dependency. Our service user group can find it difficult to access therapies for a number of reasons, so we have employed therapists since 2013 (a Psychotherapist, an Art Psychotherapist and a Drama Psychotherapist) so all our service users have access to 1:1 sessions and groups as part of their placement. We offer a holistic and trauma informed approach, and the team is made up of a diverse and highly skilled group of Mental Health Workers and Management Team. Working Hours: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm We are able to consider placements from other courses, but will prioritise UWE Placements. Due to the complex needs of our Service Users, we are not able to offer any Work Experience or short term placements (less than 6 months). We will only consider applicants who also have work experience in the Mental Health field.
